our mission
My first event was the 1983 Scottish Rally and it pretty much changed my life. I was hooked. From then on football took a back seat as i became embroiled in the most exciting sport in the world.
I have spectated and competed (badly...) marshalled and help organise events and recently ,with another, ran the Scottish Single Venue Championship. However, there was an itch I need to scratch and I wanted to share my love of the sport with others. After starting Scottish Rally Scene magazine to promote and report on Scottish Clubman rallying, I expanded this to UK Rally Scene, again in printed version, but the Covid pandemic saw us moving to an online magazine, Rally Sport News.
Development of this new website will allow us to continue to share our views of rallying, from the Clubman to the WRC, with a wider audience in this new digital era, while remembering the best of the good old days.
