Rallying is a diverse motorsport that encompasses a wide range of genres, catering to various skill levels and preferences. 

At the grassroots level, clubman events provide aspiring drivers an opportunity to compete in local competitions, often using off-the-shelf cars and relying on basic navigational skills.  In our humble opinion the clubman/person is as important to the sport as the worlds elite. The excitement at the start of the Cilwendeg Rally is no different from the excitement at the start of the Monte Carlo Rally. One of the great aspects of our sport is the varied types of event; gravel, snow, bone dry tarmac, hard base stone. Sadly, there is now no path to the top for the clubman unless they have access to a lot of money, where true talent is often ignored and loses out to those who are financially fortunate.
